Conditional Formatting is a way to have Excel apply certain formatting to part or all of your spreadsheet, based on a condition. For example, you may have a spreadsheet set up as a grade book and you would like all of the grades that are below 65 to stand out with a yellow background. Or, you may want to easily find missing data (blank cells) by formatting those cells with a pink background. When values change and no longer meet the criteria, the cells return to their original formatting. We will also see how to set and modify rules for Data Bars and Icon Sets, how to work with dates, and more.

Prerequisite: Some Excel experience.
