Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong using a paddle and ball with holes. It is a game that is appropriate for all ages and skill levels. Rules are simple, making it a great introductory sport. It can also be quite the challenging, fast-paced, and competitive game once people become more experienced playing. Livonia CSD Continuing Education Program is offering Pickleball to District residents 18 years and older (and cannot be a current student at Livonia CSD). Pickleball runs M-F 8:30am -11:30am in the Connell Building Gym (on School St. in Livonia). **If school is not in session for breaks or recess, then Continuing Education sessions are closed also. Weather closures of school mean Continuing Education classes are closed too.** The registration process consists of: 1) register online at the Livonia CSD website on the Continuing Education page 2) Sign the Livonia CSD Hold Harmless Waiver (also on the Continuing Education page) 3) Bring your license to the Connell Building Front Office for clearance. Once the registration process is complete, the scheduler for Pickleball will call you to schedule your court time. ***Dates listed below represent each full month of weekdays excluding days when school is not in session***
