The Mindful Schools approach starts with educators practicing mindfulness to cultivate awareness and agency to foster educator well-being.
Outcomes:
• Explore ways to be present here and now, paying attention to our thoughts, bodily sensations, emotions and external environment with kindness, non-judgement, and curiosity.
• Identify the difference between ‘Being mode vs Doing Mode'.
• Apply practices that promote embodiment including expanding awareness and solidity.
• Discuss ways that mindfulness practices support skillful and compassionate responses to cognitive biases and negativity biases.
