Program: PPD
Dates: 7/28/2025
In a world where information is abundant, but understanding is scarce, the ability to think critically is more essential than ever. "Educating for the Unknown” invites educators and professionals to explore how uncertainty, ambiguity, and complexity can be powerful catalysts for deeper learning and stronger decision-making.
Rooted in the theme "Science of the Unknown,” this interactive workshop equips participants with tools to navigate uncertainty, solve novel problems, challenge assumptions, evaluate evidence, and ask better questions.
From the classroom to the boardroom, you'll learn how to cultivate a mindset that embraces uncertainty not as a threat-but as a space for innovation, inquiry, and growth.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be equipped with:
A deeper understanding of the critical thinking skills necessary for adaptability and thriving in the unknown, applicable to both learning and professional contexts.
A toolkit of practical strategies and activities to cultivate these skills in their respective environments.
Increased confidence in their ability to design learning experiences and professional development initiatives that prepare individuals for future challenges.
Who should attend?
This workshop is designed for educators across all levels (K-12, higher education), curriculum developers, instructional designers, administrators, corporate trainers, learning and development professionals, managers, leaders, and anyone interested in empowering individuals with the essential thinking skills for navigating a complex and evolving world.
