ClosedStarting Soon In this session, participants will explore the NYSED-defined proficiency levels for English Language Learners (ELLs) and gain insight into typical language acquisition processes.
Building on this foundation, we'll examine frameworks for scaffolding instruction based on students' language needs and explore practical strategies for differentiation to support meaningful access to learning for all ELLs.
This is an asynchronous learning experience, with self-paced, online modules.
The required components of the course take approximately 3 hours.
Participants will have access to three optional modules to extend their learning.
Based on how many modules are completed, participants may receive 3-6 CTLE credits
Please Note - all sessions required a minimum enrollment of 5 participants to run. If there are fewer than 5 participants pre-registered, we will cancel the event with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
