1. Using Spreadsheets in the Classroom - Google Sheets - Asynchronous

Learn the basic function and operation of Google Sheets. Participants will have an opportunity to gain a better understanding of how a spreadsheet works and learn some uses that can be applied in their instruction. Participants will learn basic nomenclature, formulas, and charts.
Participants will learn more advanced functions and features available in Google Sheets. Participants will learn advanced functions and formulas, link data from sheet to sheet, utilize pivot tables, and conditional formatting. Each of these tools will be presented in a way to demonstrate their use in the classroom. Prior knowledge of basic spreadsheet use and functions is highly recommended.

3. Create and Edit a Podcast Using a FREE Online Audio Editor App in Google Drive - Asynchronous

Audience: All

Dates: 4/13/2021 to 4/15/2021

Location: Asynchronous

Learn to create a Podcast series using a Chromebook, laptop or desktop equipped with a mic, free and royalty free music. This asynchronous class will provide participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge to create a podcast series. The participants will produce a podcast episode that they can use in their classroom. In addition, the participants will learn how to have the students create content and quickly develop it into an episode with the intros and outros they created for their first episode.
