This session focuses on how to give feedback that affirms students as mathematical thinkers. Participants will analyze student work to practice feedback strategies that promote growth and reasoning. Leaders will also explore how to apply these principles in coaching conversations and walkthroughs to foster a culture of meaningful learning and reflection.

This session will provide a book study on The Gift of Dyslexia by Ronald D. Davis. It will take place as an in-person session at Buckeye Hope, with each participant presenting a short activity about a chapter in the book. We will begin assigning the chapters at our January meeting of the cohort, but welcome everyone to join us even if you aren't available for the January 28 session.
