This workshop is part of a grant-funded project, the Climate Change Learning Collaborative, and is available at NO COST to attend, but pre-registration is required. Districts will be reimbursed for the cost of substitutes when teachers attend programming during the school day.

This workshop will focus on the use of high quality resources and self-assessment tools to evaluate the materials. The NJDOE Designing and Evaluating Instructional Materials checklist will be introduced.

The Understanding Climate Change Workshop will provide a broad understanding of climate change in our world. The workshop will focus specifically on the following topics: greenhouse gases (including fossil fuels, farms and agriculture) that affect climate change, namely global warming, and responses both in terms of mitigation and adaptation.
