1. MTDS Designing for Engagement and Critical Thinking - BTAP C

Audience: Early Career Teachers who have their BTAP certification

Dates: 9/12/2024 to 2/27/2025

Take your lesson design to the next level! Learn how to design tasks that promote engagement and critical thinking in your students while also designing your own individual learning as a teacher.

This program offers continued support for
*early educators,
*those who are entering the profession through other means (such as alternative certification), or
*those navigating changes in content or grade-level.

Join us if you are a teacher who wants to-
-learn research and evidence-based practices that promote critical thinking and problem-solving,
-dive deeper into a topic of interest that you want to incorporate into your classroom, and
-set growth goals for your students and for yourself.

This program is part of the Missouri Teacher Development System (MTDS).

If you are attending a workshop for which you have not registered, a late fee will be applied.

Audience: SPED teachers, directors, and process coordinators

Dates: 10/2/2024

In the post-Endrew F. world, Individual Education Program (IEP) teams must write IEPs designed to help students make meaningful progress. Learn the art of developing IEPs in which the present level of academic and functional performance forms a solid foundation for writing SMART goals, describing specially designed instruction, and designing classroom accommodations and modifications. Participants will also learn how to involve parents in the process and review all timelines that must be met to remain in compliance.
