This program offers continued support for early career teachers.

To celebrate the completion of a successful first year of teaching, Emerging II includes a statewide event featuring Mike Rutherford, author of The Artisan Teacher! Participants will also receive a copy of Mike's book The Artisan Teacher.

Emerging B is part of the Missouri Teacher Development System and is open to any teacher who has completed a Beginning Teacher Assistance Program in Missouri.

This opportunity provides:

-access to experts- statewide event with Mike Rutherford!

-access to on-demand learning, including Mike Rutherford's MTDS series

-consultant support

-networking with other teachers

Location: 4 Truman State University (Kirksville, MO)

Audience: Any teacher who has completed a Beginning Teacher Assistance Program in Missouri

Dates: 9/12/2022 to 2/27/2023

DATES: Monday, September 12; Wednesday, October 19 (state-wide event); Monday, November 14, 2022; Wednesday, January 11; Monday, February 27, 2023

TIME: 9:00am-3:00pm

LOCATION: Truman State University TBA EXCEPT October - State-wide kick-off - Hilton Garden Inn, Columbia

COST: $200 (scholarships available) - lunch included

To celebrate the completion of a successful first year of teaching, MTDS Beginning Teacher Assistance Program B (BTAP B) includes with a state-wide event featuring Mike Rutherford, author of The Artisan Teacher! (Participants will receive a copy of this book.)

BTAP B is part of the Missouri Teacher Development System (MTDS) and is open to any teacher who has completed a Beginning Teacher Assistance Program in Missouri.

This professional development opportunity provides--

BTAP B emphasizes the following MTDS Competencies:
