Audience: Classroom Teachers and Instructional Coaches with a minimum of 3 years teaching.

Location: 5 Varies (Maryville/St Joseph, MO)

Audience: K-12 Teachers with 3 or more years of teaching

Dates: 8/8/2025 to 4/15/2026

This program offers support for mid-career teachers.

Program: RPDC - Central

Location: 9 UCM University Union (Warrensburg, MO) [map]

Dates: 9/1/2025 to 3/5/2026

This program offers support for mid-career teachers.

MTDS Powerful Task Design is part of the Missouri Teacher Development System and is open to any teacher who has:

- A strong desire for continuous professional improvement

- It is recommended to attend MTDS Teacher Academy prior to attending this program, but it is not a requirement.

This opportunity provides:

-State event with national expert, John Antonetti

-a copy of John's book: Powerful Task Design

-consultant support

-networking with other teachers

-competency-based programming



All sessions will be from 9 am to 3 pm. Participants must attend all sessions. Lunch provided!

IMPORTANT: Due to recent changes in Federal funding, MTDS/DESE will be implementing a Cost Recovery Fee Schedule that will allow us to continue to provide engaging, high-quality sessions and valuable resources to enhance your professional growth. Location: 6 S&T Phelps Health Annex E113 Conference Room (Rolla, Mo) [map]

Audience: Teachers who have completed their 4th year

Dates: 9/3/2025 to 4/9/2026

This program offers support for mid-career teachers.

MTDS Teacher Academy is part of the Missouri Teacher Development System and is open to any teacher who has:

-completed a Beginning Teacher Assistance Program in MO

-completed at least 3 years of successful teaching

-a strong desire for professional improvement

This opportunity provides:

-Statewide event with national expert, John Antonetti

-a copy John's book: 17,000 Classroom Visits Can't Be Wrong

-access to on-demand learning modules to enrich teacher learning anywhere and anytime

-consultant support

If you are attending a workshop for which you have not registered, a late fee will be applied.

Lunch will be provided. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions at least seven (7) days in advance.

Program: RPDC - Heart of MO - Regional Professional Development Center

Location: Assessment Resource Center-Meeting Center, Rm B116, 2800 Maguire Blvd (Columbia, MO)

Dates: 9/8/2025 to 4/9/2026

This program offers support for mid-career teachers.

MTDS Teacher Academy is part of the Missouri Teacher Development System and is open to any teacher who has:

*completed a Beginning Teacher Assistance Program

*completed at least 3 years of successful teaching

*a strong desire for professional improvement

This opportunity provides:

*two statewide events with national expert, John Antonetti

*access to on-demand learning modules to enrich teacher learning anywhere and anytime

There will be a January State meeting with John Antonetti and a May meeting and those dates are to be announced at a later time.

Audience: A current classroom teacher with 3 years of classroom experience - A teacher with demonstrated classroom effectiveness - A teacher with a commitment to sustained professional growth

Dates: 9/9/2025 to 5/7/2026

9. MTDS Teacher Academy-Northeast Year 1

Program: RPDC - Northeast

Location: 4 Truman State University (Kirksville, MO)

Audience: Teachers who have completed a MO BTAP, at least 3 years of successful teaching, and a strong desire for professional improvement

Dates: 9/19/2025 to 3/27/2026

DATES: Friday, September 19; Wednesday, September 24 (state meeting); Fridays - October 17, November 21, and December 19, 2025; Tuesday, January 20 (state meeting); Fridays - February 27. and March 27, 2026

TIME: 9:00am-3:00pm

LOCATION: Truman State University TBA - EXCEPT September 24 and January 20 which will be state meetings TBA

COST: $180 ($30 per session) - includes morning refreshments, lunch, and materials

This program offers support for mid-career teachers.
