1. 2020 Blended Learning Design Camp

During this extended learning experience, attendees will participate in webinar and online learning.

Current education circumstances have shifted learning in ways that educators could not have predicted. Digital Age Students require Digital Age Learning Experiences which incorporate student-driven models in which students are engaged in meaningful, authentic and rigorous challenges even during face-to-face, virtual and blended learning experiences.

Through thoughtful design, classrooms can be transformed to continue learning during these uncertain times by integrating Blended Learning Practices that can engage students whether classroom learning is face-to-face or a blend of virtual and online-classroom learning.

The Design Camp schedule:
  • 4 virtual half-days (3.5 hours per week)
  • Online weekly learning between virtual sessions which approximates to 2 hours of work between each session

    The entire focus will be to immerse teachers in a Blended Learning experience for better understanding of the student experience.

    Attendees will have an individualized workshop experience in order to incorporate learner-centered experiences and resources to create a unit of study and/or Blended Learning experiences for the fall.
