Lessons from the Field: Best Practices of GenAI Adoption

What does effective GenAI adoption really look like in schools today? In this session, education leaders will hear lessons learned from AI for Education's real‑world partnerships with educational organizations including Chicago Public Schools (IL), Houston ISD (TX), Charleston County (SC), and Milton Hershey School (PA).

Drawing from these diverse implementations, participants will explore proven strategies for developing districtwide GenAI guidelines, building staff capacity, and leading change with clarity and confidence. This session highlights what works (and what to avoid) when creating a culture of responsible, mission‑aligned AI adoption that supports teachers, safeguards students, and accelerates learning innovation.

The Roundtable meetings provide districts with the opportunity to leverage our collective expertise, thereby enhancing the utilization of technology within their respective districts.
