This standard refresher training is for individuals who are currently certified in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and are required to receive the annual three-hour refresher workshop to maintain certification. Individuals must arrive on time, participate, stay the entire session, and pass the test to receive certification. Casual dress - wear comfortable, non-slip shoes (no sandals). Lunch on your own. This program emphasizes early intervention techniques for preventing and/or managing disruptive behavior. Personal safety techniques, restraint and transport techniques are also included.
