This self-paced online module has been created to help K-8 teachers appreciate the importance of learning and teaching coding without being intimidated by it, and get ideas about how they may introduce coding to their students. As such, this module is intended to support the implementation of the "Algorithms & Programming” CS standards for the K-8 grade band as part of the Smart Start Grant.

This module has been created to help K-8 teachers appreciate the importance of visualizing data and begin considering ways to provide students opportunities to engage with data visualizations. As such, this module is intended to support the implementation of the "Data Analysis and Visualization” set of NYS Computer Science & Digital Fluency standards for the K-3, 4-6, and 7-8 grade bands as part of the Smart Start Grant.
