This is designed to increase the participants knowledge of the, skills, abilities and responsibilities as related to the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA). Successful completion of this course will meet the certification requirements in 14(5) of Chapter 102 of the Laws of 2012. The training will address the social patterns of harassment, bullying and discrimination, marginalization and micro aggressions, including but not limited to those acts based on a person's actual or perceived race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender or sex as defined in 11-Definitions. The training will address issues from a proactive - rather than a reactive- position and present the "goal"as creating an affirming educational environment for all students through addressing school culture and climate.

Please note costs for Charters: $66/per participant. This cost includes the 10% Charter processing fee. E1B Billing will reflect this cost.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for this event are required by 3/17/2020 by 9 am. Failure to do so will result in your district being charged for the event. All cancellations must be in writing, by Fax or Email. Phone Calls are not accepted.

If your school is not part of Erie 1 BOCES and belongs to a different BOCES, it is important for you to please speak to your school administrator regarding supplying Erie 1 BOCES with a cross contract for your school district to be billed for your attendance.

Erie 1 BOCES Title II A is not covered.
