This training will review components of 3012d needed for Lead Evaluator Certification. If attending for Recertification, join at 1 PM.
This workshop is designed for staff who need the INITIAL CPI: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, particularly new employees. It is meant for those directly involved in crisis situations and focuses on teaching de-escalation techniques and non-restrictive interventions. Join regional math teachers in exploring the Next Generation Algebra 2 Standards. Discuss pacing, instructional ideas, and problem solve concerns to prep for the first quarter of the year.
This workshop is for staff who have completed the initial training and require a REFRESHER. To continue being CPI-qualified, you must take a yearly refresher. This workshop will review the basic concepts of responding to various crisis levels and the corresponding intervention. To receive a CPI blue card, staff must demonstrate competency in CPI concepts and interventions. You must have completed the initial CPI training to attend this refresher course. This workshop will be offered on September 23, 2025 at the Gateway Center Progress Room from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The cost is $45.00, and it will be billed directly to your department or district.

The goal is to ensure that students are receiving the support they need to meet their individual needs and goals outlined in their IEP.
This Training aims to equip educators with the skills and knowledge to identify, prevent, and respond to violence in school settings. Lasting approximately two hours, the course covers essential topics such as recognizing warning signs, implementing de-escalation techniques, and understanding relevant legislation, including the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) Act. In New York State, training in School Violence Prevention and Intervention is mandatory, along with a six-hour DASA Certification and Mandated Reporter training for anyone pursuing a new certification, including educators apply for their professional certification.
