Course participants will explore Constructivist Media Decoding (CDM) with a focus on critical thinking and reflection. The course also takes a deep dive into the role AI plays in media literacy. The successful integration of media literacy into the K-12 classrooms requires a curriculum driven approach with lessons that teach core curriculum along with media literacy skills. Successful completion of the course will provide our participants with a deeper understanding of media literacy and a dynamic, robust toolkit with which to apply these skills in the K-12 classroom.3 graduate credits.
