1. TLI Technology Summit 2017

Program: LHRIC - Technology Leadership Institute (TLI)

Dates: 10/27/2017

The Fall Tech Summit is designed with a focus on our clients and our vendors and is purposefully aligned to align budget development life cycle. We have invited more than 40 instructional/technology vendors to share their products, information, and talk with you to align with their products and your district objectives. This year we have more than doubled the vendor floor at the Edith Macy Conference Center. Back again this year, vendors will have opportunities to present to you using the ignite format to maximize time. And what better way to look at the use of the school and district technology investments than through the research of our keynote speaker, Dr. Rueben Puentedura, founder of the SAMR Model.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER - Dr. Ruben Puentedura is the creator of the SAMR model for selecting, using, and evaluating technology in education, which currently guides the work of the Maine Learning Technology Initiative, as well as projects in Vermont and Sweden. His current work explores new directions in mobile computing, digital storytelling, learning analytics, and educational gaming, focusing on applications in areas where they have not been traditionally employed.
