This 15-hour online course introduces educators to Google Sheets. The focus is on standards-based exercises that can be easily integrated and adapted for educator use across the curriculum. Join us for an engaging journey into the Modern Classrooms Project instructional model, designed to empower educators to effectively meet the diverse needs of all students, including ELLs and students with IEPs/504 plans. This blended course combines live sessions with asynchronous work, allowing participants to explore the principles of blended instruction, self-paced learning, and mastery-based learning, all while leveraging educational technology to support personalized, individualized learning.

This is an introductory course for educators looking to learn more about MagicSchool AI and how to use it in an educational setting.

The course will cover:
*A description of how modern AI systems and an overview of MagicSchool, best practices for using MagicSchool and how to access it.
*Tips on finding the right tools to use and a look at some top MagicSchool platform features.
*Best practices for prompting AI, modifying and using generated outputs.
*Creating, configuring, and customizing MagicSchool tools for your personal usage.
*How to use MagicSchool tools with students and monitor and manage your student's usage.

This course has 5 learning modules. During each, you will watch video tutorials and complete a quiz to assess your understanding. At the end of the course, you will submit a performance task where you will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned by using MagicSchool to complete a series of tasks.

The modules can be completed at whatever pace you feel comfortable with as long as all module quizzes are submitted by 8/24 and the performance task is turned in by 8/25.
