Program: LHRIC - Instructional Technology (Model Schools Courses)
Dates: 1/1/2025
The focus of this online course is to assist you in learning to use Google Slides, Docs, Calendar, and Classroom. We will discuss other Google tools, such as forms, drawings, and maps, as we progress through the course. This course is designed for those who are new to using these tools and need the basics to get started. It will also have some tips and tricks to save you time.
While we will cover a lot of territory during this course, remember that it is self-paced. Take your time exploring the features and learning how to create on these Google tools. Use this time to think of ways you can use these tools to engage your students, gather formative and summative assessments, and offer feedback.
NOTE: This course is 100% online and will take approximately 3 hours to complete. This course begins on January 1, and participants have until June 30, 2025, to complete all required assignments and activities to receive CTLE credit.
This course is designed and provided by NYSCATE and utilizes the Canvas Learning Management System. Upon registration, you will receive an email from NYSCATE with instructions on how to enroll in your course.
