Teen Health & Wellness, an award-winning interactive database, provides our middle and high school students with current, nonjudgmental, curricular, as well as support for physical health and social/emotional challenges. Articles are vetted by certified/licensed experts and correlated to state and national standards (that include Common Core Health and Science). Please join a morning or afternoon session to review the database's functionality as we interact with strategies and resources selected and designed to meet the needs of today's teens as they are working toward alignment with NYS Portrait Of A Graduate.

You will note content focused on key topics, for example: bullying, coping, suicide, social media anxiety, vaping, opioid abuse, school safety, sexual harassment, artificial intelligence, and more. Your session will provide you with practical tools to foster a supportive teaching and learning environment while promoting students' overall health and development in the classroom, small groups, and one-on-one conversations. This workshop will provide you with practical tools and resources to foster a supportive environment that promotes students' mental well-being.

*Only one session registration is necessary - both the morning and afternoon sessions will cover the same material*
