This year's True North Conference Day is presented as a result of the collaborative planning among the superintendents and district leaders in the Bolton, Indian Lake, Johnsburg, Long Lake, Minerva, Newcomb, North Warren, and Warrensburg Central School Districts and WSWHE BOCES professional learning leaders. Keynote speaker, Dr. Toni Faddis, certified trainer in Visible Learning and Corwin educational consultant will guide the group through an exploration of Signature Practice #3, The Phases of Learning and deepen our understanding of How Learning Works, led by Dr. John Almarode at the Fall 2024 True North Conference Day. Differentiated break out sessions will follow and are designed to enhance educators' understanding and application of effective teaching practices in various learning environments. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all. Unless otherwise noted, conference sessions will be held Register early, space is limited for some breakout sessions.
