| Monroe One BOCES - Regional AI Series | Only For Monroe One BOCES Component Districts
This professional learning series is designed for educators who want to deepen their understanding of artificial intelligence and its role in education. Together, we'll explore how AI can support teaching and learning while keeping human skills at the center.
We're thrilled to bring in national experts Amanda Bickerstaff and Yarista Villalba, who will guide us through building capacity to address systems change and the evolving needs of learners.
Our sessions will focus on four key areas:
Foundations - Building Digital Literacy & AI Awareness
Future Readiness - AI and Higher Education Pathways
Parent & Community Engagement - Promoting Equity and Access
Project-Based Learning with AI - Keeping Human Skills at the Core
This work will be aligned with the NYS Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards (CS/DF), SEL Benchmarks, and the Portrait of a Graduate framework, ensuring that AI integration is purposeful and grounded in clear student outcomes.
