Cancelled: SRP Conference - "Tips for Working with Our Special Learners" on Zoom
Mid-Hudson Teacher Center is excited to offer our 1st Annual virtual SRP conference during which we will explore topics to help support our special learner populations. During this 2-hour conference, designed specifically for teacher assistants, aides, and school monitors, you will be able to delve into two of the following topics in smaller breakout sessions:

--Helping Students with the Reading Process - Within the classroom, many students may struggle with the process of reading. In this breakout session, learn some strategies that can help you to best assist students who may need additional support in this area.

--Assisting ENL Students in the School Setting - Imagine being a student in a school where you are still attempting to learn the language of the lessons being taught. In this breakout room, examine various ways to help these students improve their language capabilities.

--Maximizing Your Impact with Students in the School Setting - Students are showing up to school with more and more needs since the pandemic. In this breakout session, discussions will take place about how to best utilize your skills to help students succeed.
