21st Annual MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE- Reaching Out for Equitable Schools-Building Allies w
This professional development conference will bring together educators, parents, and community members, as well as students, to gather fresh insights and make connections with others who are working to create equitable schools that enable all young people to achieve. Th e program will focus on the ways in which structural forms of discrimination, based on race, gender, class, sexual orientation, religion, ability, language and more, deny students the access, respect and opportunity necessary for a quality education. It will off er ideas and strategies to challenge those inequities, and ways to build allies to that end, so that all young people can thrive.
