| MHLI Summer Leadership Institute 2018: Joyful Leadership in Traumatic Times | The annual Summer Leadership Institute hosted by the Mid-Hudson Leadership Institute will be held on June 28, 2018. Knowing the challenges with which school leaders contend, our theme is Joyful Leadership in Traumatic Times. There is a continuum of learning and joy in traumatic times, and it has the potential to be a positive force for transformational change. The overall focus of the day is the human element of our work, and recognizing what is within our control. Join us as we ask: How can we be resilient when we feel so drained? How can we cultivate a culture of joy and happiness for our students, staff and entire learning community? And lastly, how can we refocus on long-range systems that reflect what matters most?
