Conference Theme: ATHLETIC LEADERSHIP, DEVELOPMENT and CPR/AED INSTRUCTION
Description: This conference offers a preview of the CCIU Athletic Leadership and Coaching Development Program, created to help current and potential K-12 athletic coaches in the region gain new strategies to improve their impact on and off the field. The content has been modified to address the needs of not only K-12 Health & PE teachers in the classroom setting but also coaches looking to improve their skills and others interested in entering the coaching field. This PIAA-sponsored program will provide Health & PE teachers as well as K-12 coaches practical applications they can take back to their districts to benefit their students and athletes as a whole. Interested participants can complete the remaining modules offered by the CCIU in order to become a PIAA-certified coach. A session dedicated to understanding and complying with the newly passed Act 7 law dealing with CPR/AED Instruction is also offered.

Fee to Attend: $55 Early bird registration ends 10/7/2019, $65 as of 10/8/2019. Registration closes 10/22/2019. Walk-in registrations may be accommodated for a $80 fee.
