Our keynote presentation - "Supporting Transgender Students" by
Karen McConnell - will help us all learn what it means to be a transgender
student in school today. The session will explore the changing legal landscape with regard to gender identity and gender expression. Finally, the session will highlight best practices in supporting all students.
Following this timely and informative kickoff to the day, continue with your self-selected breakout sessions to focus the rest of your morning on building the valuable skills and exploring the relevant, timely topics best suited to you! Explore, Expand, Excel ... and Enjoy!
Schedule:
• 7:45-8:15 AM - Registration and morning refreshments
• 8:15 AM - 12:15 PM - Program
• 12:15 PM - "Grab and Go" lunch after the event to enjoy on site or to take along
