Graduation and Diploma Options: Information for Families [SWRPC] - REGISTER BY 11.17.21

OVERVIEW:

This training will be delivered in a virtual format and will focus on engaging discussions while providing an overview of the current diploma and graduation options available to New York state students, including content information in:

1. Credit requirements for graduation in NYS

2. Multiple Pathways to Graduation 4+1 Option requirements for all students

3. Appeal eligibility criteria for all students

4. Safety net options for students with disabilities

5. Exiting Credentials available in NYS and requirements for each (CDOS, SACC)

OUTCOMES:

Families and students will be provided with content and resources to be engaged and supported in the transition planning process related to individualized pathways to graduation.

The instructor will provide all registrants with access information prior to the session start time.
