Secured Communications
| When using a secured communications channel (also known as Secured Socket Layer or SSL), your web browser scrambles/descrambles each transmission to/from MyLearningPlan.com for enhanced security and privacy. Although this technology is typically used in the transmission of credit card information, we have implemented it to provide the highest level of security and privacy for our users. Even though it is not likely that your information will be compromised using a standard connection, we recommend that you use a secured connection if your computer supports it. Please note that pages will take slightly longer to download when using secured mode. You can determine if your computer is currently using a secured communications channel if an image of a lock appears (similar to  ) on the status line at the bottom of your browser window.To use secured mode every time you visit our site, type https://www.mylearningplan.com (notice the "s" at the end of http - this instructs the browser to use secured mode). If your computer does not support secured communications then you may receive a "Page not found" error when attempting to reach the server. |
