Staff can view a summary of their current and recently completed learning experiences
on the Learning Plan screen or view detailed records of all completed activities
in their Portfolio. Portfolio views enable users to view completed activities by
district-defined purposes, such as those learning experiences that were completed
towards recertification or to meet a specific in-house requirement. Staff can even
view or print Adobe Acrobat PDF completion certificates, which are automatically
generated when an administrator grants final credit.
Administrators can view one of the built-in system reports, use the Report Designer
to create their own custom report, or download data for further manipulation and
analysis to guide decision-making.

MyLearningPlan enables tracking of professional learning by building, district and/or state goals and objectives. After the goals and objectives have been added to the system, they appear on every form to facilitate fast and easy alignment of all activities to one or more goals. Reports provide administrators with ready access to data that sheds light on how each goal is being addressed.

An important intent of MyLearningPlan is to assist teachers and districts in tracking professional learning hours or points accumulated towards recertification or licensure. Licensure portfolio views enable teachers to look at current licensure periods and accumulated hours. Adobe Acrobat PDF transcripts are formatted to meet state requirements, simplifying the re-licensure process.
Current license information for all staff can be automatically downloaded to MyLearningPlan when available from the State. Where supported, the system will electronically submit relevant coursework to State Departments of Education to meet the Continuing Education reporting requirements for licensure.

The system includes extensive financial tracking capabilities to stay on top of a myriad of budgets. Current school year expenditures for each staff member are tracked and displayed for administrators on each approval request form. Budget codes and funding sources can be entered and assigned to individual administrators to monitor spending by buildings, departments, grants, substitute costs, etc. Reports can be generated at any time and data can be downloaded to Microsoft Excel/Access for further analysis.
Districts can track each teacher’s plan, qualifications, and progress towards NCLB requirements. Fully designed, yet customizable form templates are available to collect and report HQT Highly Qualified Teacher data, including a HOUSSE form (High, Objective, Uniform State Standard of Evaluation) that automatically calculates points for veteran teachers. Teachers can develop their own professional development plans, including activities identified as “High Quality Professional Development.”
